Sean Munger is a historian, teacher, author, consultant and podcaster. He writes about history at his blog gardenofmemory.net and teaches history online at his website seanmunger.com. His latest book is the historical short read, "The 50 Most Important Things in History." He has also written numerous novels, including the crime novels In Deadly Mirrors (2021) and The Son Thief (2022), coming-of-age story Jake's 88, the science fiction/magical realism novel The Valley of Forever, the quirky love story February Romance, and short story collections Outer Frontier and Hotel Himalaya: Three Travel Romances. His horror novels, released by Samhain Publishing, include The Rats of Midnight (2015), Doppelgänger (2015), Zombie Rebellion (2014) and Zombies of Byzantium (2013).
He produced and hosted the history podcast "Second Decade" and the movie podcast "Green Screen," about environmental and historical themes in popular moves (both available to listen for free on iTunes). He has also written on subjects related to climate change.
