Hi, fellow readers. I've always been an avid reader, with the dream of becoming an author, as well. Now, that I have retired from a satisfying career as teacher and school librarian, I've found the time to do so. I was born, raised and lived most of my life in NYC. And I have been enjoying life in NE Florida since 2014.

My Grandmother, Fanny, escaped from a shtetl in Ukraine during Russian Czarist rule, long ago. Her stories inspired my first novel, 'The Keys to Fanny.' It is fiction, so this is not the story of her life, exactly, but how it might have been. That is the wonderful part of writing a novel. You can create your own reality within the pages of your book.

'The Keys to Fanny' was selected as 'Book of the Month' by the Florida Writers Association.

I have created three poetry chapbooks, and several of my poems have received awards from the Florida State Poets Association. My writings have been published in a variety of literary periodicals. I continue to speak at local meetings and book clubs, as well as on zoom calls.
