Lonz grew up in Augusta, GA, attended both Josey and Westside high schools. He joined the Marines right after graduation and ended retired after 20 years of service. He finished a bachelor's degree from NY Regents and Masters of Administration from Central Michigan. Lonz scuba dives, travels, and enjoys cooking or baking. He also loves contemporary jazz music. Lonz believes that family is the most important unit a person can have. He dreams of coordinating a reunion with extended relatives.
