I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. Or shall I say, the Detroit Metropolitan area.
Some of you may have noticed my email with the Aird name. My grandparents were Scottish, and my family comes from Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland. You will see that name around a time or two if you have read my first book already.
I joined the Army Reserves in 1988 and went Active Duty 1990 where I got my first taste of war during Desert Shield/Storm. With a total of six deployments and 21 years of service, I am very happily retired. Well, retired from the Army. Now I work as a contractor on a military base supporting Soldier MOS training.
I decided to challenge myself and publish a book. I try to write articles as well and hopefully; those will get noticed in the near future.
On my off time, I like to get involved with Bible Studies, hang out with my lovely kitties, Junior and Ollie; and sometimes play World of Warcraft. Yep, I'm a nerd, too!
I have two daughters, and two grandsons.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
