I have wanted to be an author for as long as I can remember. I have always written stories and have always been an avid reader. I like nothing more than  a well-told story that is passionate and emotional and explores the bigger things in life: belonging and identity, power, relationships and the little moments that take your breath away. 

When I'm not writing, I'm reading. I also enjoy photography, gardening, playing piano, cooking and falling down the rabbit-hole of creating art in Photoshop or listening to Game of Thrones soundtracks. 

I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in journalism and creative writing, and went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Education. I'm currently working as an English/History teacher. 

I live in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW, Australia, with my partner, two children and three very spoilt cats. 

My debut fantasy novel, Shadow of Fire, will be released in 2022. Shadow of Fire is the first book in a duology, with relatable characters, magic and a world ruled by the Mother of All.
