Caroline was born in Sandusky, Ohio, and lived her young life in a small quaint town bordering Lake Erie named Huron. Much later she moved to Atlanta, Georgia and enjoyed her family. Swimming, boating, and fishing were the enjoyments of living on the lake along with perch sandwiches, island cruising, a fun day at the infamous Cedar Point amusement park.

Caroline wrote a couple poems in her twenties, and it wasn't until listening to her father recite Poe at the water's edge, namely 'A Dream Within A Dream' that she became fascinated with the written word. She worked as a nurse in hospitals across America in the acute settings of the Intensive Care Units and like most people in life met with some struggles. Her storytelling combines a poetic mix with intricate words woven in to master the English language.

She is a member of the Georgia's Writer Association, honorary winner of the London and Los Angeles Book Festivals for Bleu Moon, participant of Georgia Red Clay Writer's Conferences, and was nominated Georgia Author of the Year for Bleu Moon. Caroline's writing portfolio is at carolineclemens.com, and she blogs on theivorytide.com.

Bleu Moon, (Someday) is the middle segment of Into the Vines, her first book. The blue moon, occurring infrequently, is relative to the honor and grace of heroes missions. Olivier continues his Special Forces involvement as he and Brie unite and find out how families come together in a crisis. Do you love Paris? Bleu Moon (Someday) will take you on a trip through the French countryside, and beyond, then back to the streets of Paris with adventure in the city of light and love. This coming of age novel of adventure is acceptable for readers age 14.

Caroline just completed and published two more titles this year! Chocolate for Lilly is her historical fiction debut, set in the 1920's eastern seaboard of America in its unique Gilded Age Era. Three King Mackerel is her thriller debut set in the south-north of Atlanta with twists and turns, including spy elements that will have you checking your phone and wondering about the investigation happening in our own Washington, D.C. She plans to write a sequel as soon as she figures out this unique plot!

The sequel has been written! Her #southernsurveillanceseries has #2 and is published as Magenta Fleurs. This coastal series is for adult readers. She has just finished writing number #3, so fingers crossed for a release later this year in 2023! Caroline has plans for two other series, a historical fiction and romantic summer beach read. Stay tuned.
